Is it you??? :)
I know a few people celebrating this week - and I must say, they're all pretty darn special!
I'm here with one more project from My Time Made Easy. I went simple and clean, monochromatic, and am quite pleased with my results. I needed packaging for a necklace and earring set I picked up for a friend. I thought the You've Got Mail template would be a nice touch -- when you pull open the front of the mailbox, there it is!
Here's the view from the front:
I used the stamp set Critters With Heart. These little animals really are SO cute. My friend has a collection of owls, so really, this image and sentiment is PERFECT!
The base of my template uses some cardstock from Couture Cardstock, called Silent Night. The front and side panels are the fabulous Ga Ga for Gingham paper by Kristin, also in silent night. Of course, in retrospect, I wish I had made my paper double sided...*sigh*. Not sure what I was thinking there.
Anywhoo -- *giggle* here is the mailbox open, so you can see the very "sparkalay" necklace and earrings. Doesn't it just sit in there so nicely??
Now here's one more photo, to try and get the top - I used some silver tinsel ribbon to make a larger bow to place on top, and placed some flower die cuts from Flutters and Flowers on top - secured with a filagree brad from SU!. I kept it simple, and it went together quite quickly and easily.
Now -- for the details on the giveaway -- Lauren has generously put up for grabs $100 in Gift Certificates to My Time Made Easy! Yes, $100!!! But you have to do a little work for it -- here are the rules:
