An Exciting Announcement - and some blog candy...

EDITED TO ADD WINNERS!!

Random.org chose the following numbers:

#12 - Elise

and

#22 - Betty

please e-mail me at cuccicoo1002@yahoo.com so I can arrange for your GC!! Congratulations Ladies!!!

Hi all ~
Hope you're off to the start of a great day! I know I am. I'm honored to have been chosen to participate on Lauren Meader's My Time To Create Design Team. I'm looking forward to getting to know the other ladies on the team some more, as well as working with Lauren on her wonderful challenges! Thank you Lauren for thinking I'm worthy ;)

I figured I'd share a Timeless Template project with you. This is the Desktop Organizer template. It's slightly tweaked, as I made the overhang a little shorter, so you could see more of what is in the box. I stamped the sides before the box was assembled. I just am loving the Beyond Basic Borders and New Leaf CS, ink and ribbon right now...can you tell? *wink*
I'm making these for my 3 nieces that are all making their First Holy Communion this Spring. Each one is a little different looks-wise, but this is the packaging. I had originally made a similar project for a friend, but figured I'd post this one, now that I have the right ribbon ;)

I love Lauren's templates, they make everything so EASY! I've got a category on my sidebar just for projects with her templates, take a peek, you'll see what I mean!

Congratulations to my fellow team members, I'm looking forward to working with you!

Now...onto the blog candy...leave me a comment with your favorite template of Lauren's, or one that you'd like to try, and I will pick 2 random people to send a $5 PTI gift certificate to, to go and get another template to try! Comments will close at 11:59 pm EST Wednesday, April 29th, and the winner announced Thursday!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Supplies:
Stamps: Beyond Basic Borders
Ink: New Leaf, Fresh Snow
Paper: Shimmery White (SU!), New Leaf (PTI)
Accessories: New Leaf satin ribbon, glue dots

Tracey - LOVE these boxed up gifts - how precious and special - I have not had time to post about My Time team yet - it will be so fun but I'm feeling intimidated by all the wonderfulness from the rest of the team. LOL Are we our own worst critics? I LOVE your blog name *tee hee* Looking forward to getting to know you better and be inspired together. Hugs n smiles.

Congrats on being picked for Lauren's DT! The two templates I'd like to try the most are "Filed with Flair" and "Basket Basics". Everything I've seen created with those are just out of this world! I've just got to get brave enough to give them a try!

Very happy for you & the DT pick! I think my fave template is the File box one - the one with the curvy sides that you can put cards in. I plan to get that one (or WIN it!!) :)

Congrats, Tracey!
Lauren obviously made a very wise choice in picking you :-) I love what you have done with her templates. I especially love the "Reisens You Are A Great Couple" you did using the Purse-onality clutch template, as well as this one (desk organizer) for the necklace gift. Those have to be my two favorites. I have never tried one of Lauren's templates, but you are making me think I am really missing the boat. I love the things you have made!

Thanks for sharing your wonderful creativity (can't wait to see what you come up with in the future!) and for giving us a chance to win a template.

I love the Captured Card Case, and I am getting TONS of use out of the Get a Handle On It!

Congrats on getting chosen for Lauren's team!!

Side note - I also burned my leg on a motorcycle tail pipe, but I was about 12 at the time. My parents weren't home and my sister and I were freaking out!!! Now 18 years later the scar is very very faint.

So excited for you Tracey! It's about time! I have used two of the templates, and haven't tried the desk ones even though I will one day.

There are a few of Lauren's templates I'd like to try - the Bun in the Oven and the File Box I think its called are two of them. Congrats on making the DT!! You will do fabulous!
