Need Some Inspiration??? Come and Play!!

Hi all - and HAPPY SATURDAY! It's 'supposed' to be a beautiful day here, we'll see...I just saw on the news that out of the last 42 days, 26 of them have been rainy...I'm feeling a little waterlogged.

So, it being Saturday, we all know that means it's time for another My Time to Create Challenge. Lauren is swamped with the Papertrey release as well as end of school projects, so Kristin is hosting the challenge this week!

Here's my take on the challenge:

I used ribbon to make the 'carpet' I wrapped alternating strips of ivory satin, and spring moss twill around a piece of white CS. Now the buttons...I didn't have buttons in all of the colors that I wanted/needed. I did have the red and the yellow, but the blue and green I was stuck.

I looked all around, and realized "DUH" your COPICS can make you any colored button you WANT silly! So that's what I did...made me realize life would be easier with the airbrush system, but I broke out my spritzer tool, and that worked just fine! So there you have it -- custom colored buttons, what do you think??

Be sure to stop by the other girls' blogs and show them some love...here's a peek of what they've been up to:

Here's links to the team -- the ladies in bold font are the ones who were able to play along this week.

Your buttons turned out GREAT! Love your simple design and especially how you created the "carpet" with ribbon! What a fantastic idea!! That was the one thing I couldn't pull off on my card. Love the end result of yours :O)

Oh, and we do have a Mr. Linky so no worries :O)
