I'm going to try and keep this short and sweet, as I know there's been a LOT to look at today. LOL.  I've got 2 projects to share with you today, both feature new templates and stamps being released to day at My Time Made Easy.

First up is this cute All a Flutter© tote and card to coordinate.  For the tote, I used some chocolate card stock, and the circles pattern from the Pretty Printables© papers.  I have my Cricut Expression with the SCAL software (I bought mine at Candacraft) and let me tell you - I literally had this put together in less than 10 minutes.  Yes, REALLY.  And, you can see that it holds quite a bit...there are 4 travel sized bath & body items in here.  I gave this to my daughter, and she giggled with delight :).  I added the handle, and now she carries it around the house -- probably more than I would like her to - lol.

I made a card to coordinate...the sentiment is from All a Flutter Sentiments©, I stamped the outline image of the butterfly from the All a Flutter© set, and carefully cut out the inside of the wings (I used hole punches for the circles, the 1/8" and 1/16" work perfectly!) and layered it on a piece of the circle paper. The main layer is another pattern included in the Pretty Printables© papers.  Kristin really did a fabulous job on all of these papers, you won't be disappointed!

My next ensemble uses the new Shutt-erfly Pretty Packaging© template.  This time, I used this great butterfly striped paper, and used rust and white as my main colors.  I colored in the wings on the butterflies used in this project.  "It's the little things that make life big!"  I can see myself using this sentiment a LOT.  I'm trying to teach my girls that it's not always about presents or expensive extravagant things, but that it's the little things, like spending time together, and enjoying each other that is important.  Oh - and cookies.  Cookies are important ;).  The cookies you see in the photo are Ricotta Cheese cookies.  My friend's Mom passed along the recipe (I've made a seperate post below with the recipe), and they are tasty!  Quite a few fit in this box, perfect for gift giving!

This time - I cut the template from the polka dot paper included in the Butterfly Pretty Printables© and used the "wrong side" of the paper for the outside, so what a nice surprise to see the inside of the box lined with polka dots, and the wings on the closure of the box too!

This time, I made my card using the box as my inspiration piece.  The 'Enjoy' was stamped on a piece of rust cardstock in white craft ink.  I picked up this cute Heidi Swapp Alphabet set on clearance at M's last week for $4!  How can you beat THAT???  And it came in handy for this project, so it was DEFINITELY justified ;).

Well -- that certainly didn't turn out to be a short and sweet as I thought it would be, but I did try...

I'll be back later this week, with ANOTHER few samples with new release items from My Time Made Easy, and a little somethin' from Pink Cat Studio - her first release of 2010!

Be on the lookout!

Tracey - what fun and creative projects you have made to showcase Lauren's newest. I love the tote - I added a handle to mine as well - but I cut mine by hand (no cricut for me - YET) LOL. I also LOVE your choice of papers you used on Shutt-erfly - Great minds think alike eh? I even used the multi dots on the top - I just used a different card base - LOL - it's so fun seeing how we each interpreted these new items - you have done a fabulous job of showing off all the new PRETTIES from My Time. Hugs to you and thanks for the watermarks - makes it really nice to have that one unique for these projects.

OMG, Tracey! You have me grinning from ear to ear! I LOVE what you did with my paper!!! The first set with the brown butterfly collage and the overlapping circles is so striking. I LOVE that you layered a butterfly outline on the circle paper! What a great idea! (Now you can cut those with your Cricut too so it will be even easier ;) LOL You put my gift to shame with all those bottles you fit inside yours! I only added two even though I had plenty of room :)

I also love your second set with what I fondly call the granny stripe paper :O) LOL Don't ask...ha ha. It looks GREAT with the white backing and the brown ribbon! Feel free to send that to me...WITH the cookies inside! Great job showcasing everything! Two beautiful gift ensembles, my friend ;]

Thank you for making the awesome watermarks! LOVE it!! Have a great week!
