Just Because...

I went to my friend Rebecca's blog, commnented on some recent layouts...and she asked when I was going to do some digi-scrap...

I had done a few projects recently, but hadn't posted them here. They were both posted on the Stampin' Out Alzheimer's site -- did you know that they raised OVER $6,000??? That's AWESOME! Glad I got to play along with some of the FABULOUS challenges...ahem, sorry, I go out on tangents now and then ;)

Soooooo, here's a project I made and gave to my Mom -- Now mind you, I actually made her a cool shadow box frame with fun jungle chipboard letters, but never took a picture of it...shame on me, before I gave it to her, so I 'edited' my digi page to incorporate the rest of what I had to say...

I had gotten all of these funny faced pictures of my nieces and nephews (on my side of the family) and thought it would be hysterical to make a page of these faces, instead of catching the perfect smile, or posed shot...they are ALL so silly.

The kit is "Monkey Do" by Mindy Terasawa...

Onto my next creation...

This was from a FABULOUS free digi kit (Flip Flop Tan by Libby Weifenbach) that was given to all of the SOA participants...I did a little page of some of our 'staycation' photos from last summer.

This is such a fun kit, with lots of bright colors, and super fun elements...

So tell me, do you digiscrap??? If not, is there a reason you don't? Don't like it, afraid to try it?? Tell me, I'd love to know. Also - love tips and tricks for PSE if you have some to share :)

I think I'd like to work a little more on my digiscrappin' skills this Summer...adding it to my list of goals.

Hope everyone has a great day!! Be on the lookout for a Dustin Pike peek!!!

I love these pages.

I had a question for you though. I have never done a digital scrapbook page before, but have been seeing all kinds of free kits and etc on-line. How do you print a 12 x 12 page? Do you have a special printer?

Thanks,

What super fun pages, Tracey! Nope- no digiscrappin' for me though. I am an old fashioned (and intimidated) girl, lol! I personally prefer to use handwriting for one thing. But your pages look amazing! My DD wants to start scrappin' and I think this would be her way to go. I'll have to show her your blog- these are great!

These pages are beautiful! So great! I have never tried digi scrapbooking. I guess I just don't know anything about it and am kinda overwhelmed to even look!
